Join Skamania County for the Grand Finale Event of their 2012 Skamania County Reads program. The novel, The Highest Tide, was the book selected by the Friends of the Stevenson Library for this year’s title. On Tuesday, May 1, at 7 PM in the Stevenson Library Gallery, author Jim Lynch will be appearing to talk about his book which is as much an ode to marine biology and the mysteries of the sea as it is a coming-of-age story.  The book is set in the South Puget Sound.  Jim Lynch will have copies of his books for sale, which include, in addition to The Highest Tide,  Border Song and Truth Like the Sun.
